How to open the plastic wrappers...
At our launch, I got a lot of questions about how to open the plastic Xocai wrappers..... the Xobiotic, Omega, Cookie, and Protein bars.
There are a couple of techniques that work really well, and I wanted to try and briefly describe them here....
AND let you know that there will be some "How to" videos up soon as well!
1. Okay, so the Cookie and Protein bars are pretty easy.... just open it like a chip bag.
- Grab the two sides of one end of the cookie/bar, and pull the seam apart.
2. The Xobiotic and Omega are a little bit harder for some people..... what I find works best for me, is to:
- lift up the flap on the back of the square
- start at the top, and tear down the seam, pulling it to one side.
3. Another technique that I learned from Steve Dohnt from Life With Chocolate is to:
- lift up the flap on the back of the square
- start on one end, and pull the flap away from the chocolate (perpendicularly)
- you can do the other end as well if you need to
- push the chocolate out one end of the now open wrapper
* That one is hard to explain in words, so stay tuned for the video to see it in action!
Hope that helps!
Happy wrapper saving!
